Effective as of May 16, 2011, I hereby extend to you, as Incumbent Administrative Vice Chancellor, the authority to act as the Administrative Vice Chancellor in accordance with the authorities contained in the delegations of authority heretofore issued to the Administrative Vice Chancellor (see attached list), for the period of May 16, 2011 through June 30, 2011. This interim authority is intended to accommodate the window of time when Administrative Vice Chancellor Morabito will be away from campus and before your official start date as Administrative Vice Chancellor on July 1, 2011.

In the event that you are absent or unable to act on time-sensitive matters during this interim period, designated subordinate staff may act on your behalf as specified in their respective delegations of authority.

This interim authority shall expire effective July 1, 2011, at which time you will automatically inherit all of the delegated authorities issued to the Administrative Vice Chancellor position.
