Supersedes: UCLA DA 530.03 (Exceptions to Policy Regarding Employee-Vendor Relationships) to Administrative Vice Chancellor Morabito, et al., dated 12/14/2007.

Effective as of the date above, I hereby delegate to your positions, within your respective areas of responsibility, the authority to approve exceptions, as provided for in the University policy governing employee-vendor relationships (BUS-43, reference (b), above). Business and Finance Bulletin BUS-43, Part 5, Section III.5 states:
“Within constraints imposed by the Political Reform Act and Public Contract Code Sections 10515 et seq., each Responsible Official [read Chancellor] or designee is delegated authority to approve exceptions to this policy under unusual or extenuating circumstances.”
This delegation is being reissued due to an organization change and no substantive changes have been made to the delegation being superseded. This authority may not be further redelegated.
