UCLA DA 157.22: Execution of Agreements Related to Actor’s Equity

Effective as of the date above, I hereby delegate to you, in your area of responsibility, the authority to execute certain agreements related to Actor’s Equity, a labor organization for live theatrical performers and stage managers, involving performances at UCLA Live events conducted at UCLA. Such agreements are not part of the Standard Performance Agreement and will be on forms provided by Actor’s Equity. They include, but are not limited to, university letter of guarantee and security agreements, specifically related to a planned event.

All agreements under this delegation must be executed in accordance with the applicable University policies and procedures governing the particular transaction, including, but not limited to, Business and Finance Bulletins and other relevant guidelines. All such agreements shall be reviewed and approved as to form by the Campus Counsel prior to execution.

Any redelegation of this authority may be more restrictive but not less restrictive, and requires my approval in advance. Preparation of any such redelegation(s) shall be through the Manager, Administrative Policies & Delegations.
