Supersedes: UCLA DA 715.01 (To Enter Into Written Agreements with Local Law Enforcement Agencies) to Vice Chancellor Morabito, dated 9/7/2005)

Effective as of the date above, I hereby delegate to you, as Administrative Vice Chancellor, the authority to enter into written agreements with local law enforcement agencies consistent with Section 67381 of the California Education Code. That provision requires that the written agreements identify either the campus or local law enforcement agency as having operational responsibility for the investigation of Part 1 violent crimes, and that they delineate the specific geographical boundaries of each agency's operational responsibility. These agreements shall be in accordance with the Implementation Guidelines, University of California, SB 1729, School Safety, Thompson (attached).

This delegation is being reissued due to an organization change and there are no substantive changes to the delegation being superseded. This authority may not be further redelegated.
