Supersedes: UCLA DA 638.04 (Policy Exceptions to Holiday Work Compensation), to Dean and Vice Chancellor Levey and Administrative Vice Chancellor Morabito, dated 3/7/2005.

Effective as of the date above, I hereby delegate to you, within your respective areas of responsibility, the authority to grant exceptions to PPSM 40 – Holidays, Section D.2., Compensation For Holiday Work, in order that persons in the classes listed in the Attachment shall be paid at one and one-half times the regular rate for work on the following holidays:

Thanksgiving DayMemorial Day
December 24thJuly 4th
New Year’s DayLabor Day
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

This delegation is being reissued due to an organization change and there are no substantive changes to the delegation being superseded. Any redelegation of this authority shall be in writing with copies to me and to those listed below.
