Supersedes: UCLA DA 157.01 (Execution of Performance Agreements) to Associate Dean Baxter, Executive Director Cooper and Assistant Dean Luna, dated 11/14/2002.

Effective as of the date above, I hereby delegate to you, in your respective areas of responsibility, the authority to execute performance agreements on behalf of the School of the Arts & Architecture, required with outside organizations, agencies, and individuals to implement approved programs and activities, whether the University is the supplier or recipient of the service covered by the agreement (reference UC DA 1058). Within the scope of this delegation, you are authorized to negotiate and execute all such agreements, except those which contain provisions falling within the restrictions and limitations set forth in Standing Order 100.4 (dd), or which require approval of The Regents because of specific policy memoranda issued from time to time.

All performance agreements under this delegation must be executed in accordance with the applicable University policies and procedures governing the particular transaction, including, but not limited to, Business and Finance Bulletins and relevant guidelines issued by the appropriate functional areas within the Office of the President and the Campus. All performance agreements shall be executed using the University of California Performance Agreement (Agreement), which may not be altered without the express review and approval of Campus Purchasing. Any changes as to the legal form of the Agreement must be approved by the General Counsel prior to execution.

This delegation is being reissued owing to an organizational change, and both delegatees shall now have the same authority as the dean to execute agreements on behalf of the School of the Arts & Architecture, as specified above. This authority may not be further redelegated.
