THIS UCLA DA HAS BEEN RETIRED. UC DA 2087 WAS RESCINDED AND INCORPORATED INTO PPSM-30 - COMPENSATION. SEE ALSO UCLA DA'S 661.01 AND 661.03.

Effective as of the date above, I hereby delegate to you, in your area of responsibility, the authority to determine when meal and/or housing perquisites are required and the amount, in accordance with prevailing market practices and UC PPSM 30, Section J, which states:

"Meal and/or housing perquisites are provided to employees when they are required as a condition of employment and for the convenience of the University. Such perquisites are considered mandatory. The value of meals and/or housing is included as part of compensation in calculating the regular rate (see Definitions) for determining premium overtime pay (if applicable)."

This delegation is being reissued due to an organization change and there are no substantive changes from the delegation being superseded. This authority may not be further redelegated.
