You may redelegate your authority to the Associate Vice Chancellor, Campus Human Resources, who will receive, review and endorse requests, including those originating from the Medical Sciences, before passing them on to the Chancellor for approval. The Associate Vice Chancellor, Campus Human Resources shall also be responsible for the ongoing reporting on policy compliance in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section V. Compliance, UC Policy 2.325. Such reporting responsibilities include establishing procedures to collect and report information, thoroughly reviewing all related reports and providing a copy of the final compliance report to the Chancellor for his signature.
Requests to reemploy retired employees into Senior Management Group (SMG) positions, or retired employees whose annualized base salary plus any other cash compensation in the rehire position meets or exceeds the current Indexed Compensation Level are reserved for review and endorsement by the President, and approval by The Regents. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
