This is a redelegation of authority contained in UC DA 2113, Reference (e), above, concerning the Managers and Senior Professionals programs. General policy for appointment and compensation of senior managers is contained in several University sources, References (a) through (d), above. Effective as of the date, above, I hereby delegate to you, in your respective areas of responsibility, the authority to appoint and compensate staff employees for the Managers and Senior Professionals (MSP) programs under your jurisdiction. Designated Campus and Medical Enterprise Officers are also authorized to approve positions and appointment salaries and salary increases in accordance with the attached Senior Managers Appointment and Compensation Authority Matrix. This authority may not be further redelegated.

Each of you shall report to the Office of the President, with a copy to me, any actions taken under this delegation of authority for Senior Managers by forwarding a letter of information or action form to the Office of Senior Management Compensation and Benefits within thirty days of said actions.
